Maritza has owned and operated Lavender Cleaning Services since its creation in 2010. Maritza has extensive experience working in the private cleaning industry  for over 30 years. Her clients include some of the same families she began with in 1993 when she immigrated from Peru. Maritza was traditionally trained in the art of housekeeping by the former owner of a respected nursing home, influencing her emphasis on professional cleaning and hygiene standards at LCS.

Maritza lives in Norwalk with her husband and two children. Her daughter, Belen, has Down syndrome and receives pediatric services from STAR Rubino Center, where Maritza has served on the board of directors since 2021. Maritza has worked and volunteered at Norwalk Hospital and Wilton Meadows Nursing Home. She graduated from Norwalk Community College with a degree in Nursing.
